Job summary

VTEX is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to build robust, integrated data models for the VTEX Ads platform. You will model data across advertisers, publishers, events, and performance, enabling reliable insights for product, client, data science, and business teams.

You’ll design and implement ingestion, transformation, and data pipelines in a Lakehouse environment, ensuring scalability and reliability for decisions driving platform revenue.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL, Python, Spark, and data modeling experience in large analytics environments.
• Experience with AWS data services (Athena, Redshift, S3) and data warehouse concepts.
• Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools like Airflow, Spark, EMR, Glue.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable analytical models in AWS Cloud.
• Define data requirements with product/tech teams.
• Develop ingestion, transformation, and data modeling pipelines using the VTEX data platform.
• Support stakeholders with technical and analytical solutions.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, and ensure reliability in SQL and Python environments.
• Spread best practices and evolve the data stack.
