You will lead complex technical projects, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and operations to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, while upholding high data quality standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field.
• Multiple years of experience working with complex topics in data engineering, data modeling, data analytics, etc.
• Experience leading multi-people projects to completion.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders through written communication and presentations.
• Highly organized in work management and written code.
• High proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Open to utilizing AI tools in day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requests into scalable data solutions and frameworks.
• Support end-to-end data value chain ownership and maintenance.
• Document internal knowledge and best practices as needed.
• Lead execution of complex projects from a technical perspective.
• Implement processes and standards to improve data product quality.
• Provide active mentoring on technical abilities to junior team members.
• Collaborate with PMs to plan larger projects and resource needs.
• Brainstorm innovative data solutions with stakeholders.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand departmental needs.
• Ensure business teams can effectively use the data model and understand trade-offs.
• Communicate progress and gather feedback on projects with the business.
