Job summary

Gemini is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design scalable data models and data pipelines. You will work within the Data team to deliver reliable warehousing and BI solutions, translating business requirements into actionable insights for leaders across the organization.

You will optimize SQL, leverage Python for automation, and collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to maintain data quality and governance at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing dimensional data models and schemas for enterprise data warehouses.
• Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills; Python for data transformation and automation preferred.
• Experience with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for analytics and BI solutions.
• Experience with dbt and modern data transformation frameworks.
• Collaborative work across teams and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement data warehousing and reporting solutions.
• Build scalable dimensional data models for Data Warehouse and BI.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and insights.
• Perform analyses to derive actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Root cause analysis and resolution of production and data issues.
• Develop automated data quality checks and testing frameworks.
• Optimize SQL transformations for performance and maintainability.
• Document data dictionaries and processes; research new tools.
