A leading technology company in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and implement data warehouses and transformation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of data engineering experience, be proficient in SQL and Python, and possess strong skills in managing large-scale data projects. This role requires collaboration with multiple teams to drive data-driven decision making. The position has an anticipated salary range of $130,000 to $175,000 annually and values in-person collaboration in the office four days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering.
• Proficient in Python and SQL within Snowflake.
• 3+ years of experience with dbt.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data warehouses.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines.
• Write complex SQL including window functions.
• Manage and optimize DAGs and troubleshoot task failures.
• Implement metadata management and data lineage principles.
• Use a test-driven approach to ensure data quality.
