Job summary

Arcotech is seeking a senior data engineering professional to lead the design, evolution, and maintenance of complex data pipelines. The role focuses on scalability, observability, and automation, while shaping analytic and semantic models across multiple data sources.

Your work will define the use of data stack tools, including orchestration and transformation, and establish systemic standards for quality, testing, and reliability to ensure predictable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL querying and data modeling skills required.
• Experience with dimensional models (Star/Snowflake).
• Proficiency with dbt for ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, evolution, and maintenance of complex pipelines with focus on scalability, reliability, observability, and automation.
• Define and evolve analytical and semantic models across sources and domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, evolution, and maintenance of complex pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, observability, and automation
• Lead the definition and evolution of complex analytical and semantic models, integrating multiple sources and domains
• Define and guide the use of data stack tools, including orchestration, ingestion, and transformation
• Establish systemic standards for quality, testing, and reliability to ensure predictability and sustainability
• Translate business needs into technical modeling rules, working directly with business areas

Requirements

• Advanced SQL
• Deep knowledge of dimensional modeling (Star Schema/Snowflake Schema)
• Proficiency in dbt
• Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks)
• Use of Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration
• Ability to translate business requirements into data transformation rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical reference in the use of AI tools applied to data engineering to improve productivity and cost efficiency
