Bonapolia is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team remotely. The role focuses on migrating a data pipeline to a core data warehouse with expertise in BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow. You will translate stakeholder needs into data requirements and lead the data mart design and quality checks.

You will collaborate across time zones, own the attribution logic, and ensure timely delivery of data for downstream analytics and reporting. CET timezone alignment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Analytics Engineering, DWH Engineering, or Data Analysis.
• Expert SQL and good Python for ETL and data processing.
• DWH architecture, ODS, data marts, incremental loads, history handling, deduplication.

Responsabilités

• Clarify requirements and implement attribution logic changes and data marts.
• Lead migration of dbt models, Airflow DAGs, and sources to the core DWH platform.
• Build and optimise incremental BigQuery data marts with recalculations and backfills.
• Implement data quality checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyse external inputs to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Participate in testing, validation, releases, and technical documentation.

The customer is a global mobility and urban services platform offering transportation, delivery, and on-demand services.

Project Description:

Data delivery and attribution pipeline migration to a core data warehouse platform.

Hard Skills / Must Have:

• 3+ years of Analytics Engineering, DWH Engineering, or Data Analysis experience
• Expert SQL and good Python knowledge for ETL and data processing
• DWH architecture, ODS, data marts, incremental loads, history handling, and deduplication
• BigQuery or similar columnar databases; data mart design and optimisation
• dbt for large incremental projects and Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Pipeline migration, data parity validation, Git, Data Quality, and Data Governance
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into data requirements

Hard Skills / Nice to Have:

• Mobile or marketing attribution data, ad network cost data, SKAN/ATT, and ad fraud data
• Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Storage, and Dataform
• Lightdash, Looker, or Tableau
