Job summary

Aperio Global is seeking a Senior Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft program in Fort Meade, MD. You will collaborate with analysts, engineers, and data scientists to build analytic software that automates workflows and accelerates analysis.

You will prototype new capabilities, transition them to production, and leverage Agile practices while exploring GenAI to modernize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong software engineering experience developing applications with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience developing scalable, production-quality software solutions.
• Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and deliver innovative solutions in an Agile environment.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with analysts and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate requirements into software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Build reusable software components, APIs, and analytic capabilities that integrate with enterprise mission systems.
• Develop scalable data processing workflows that automate manual tasks and improve analyst productivity.
• Rapidly prototype new capabilities and transition successful solutions into operational environments.

Aperio Global is seeking a Senior Analytic Developer to support our Access Discovery & Tradecraft program. In this role, you’ll collaborate with intelligence analysts, software engineers, and data scientists to develop innovative analytic capabilities that transform how data is discovered, processed, and exploited. What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD.

Desired / Nice to Have
Experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding assistants.
Java development experience.
Experience applying Generative AI (GenAI) or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to operational problems.
Familiarity with mission analyst tools and intelligence workflows.
Experience rapidly prototyping and transitioning capabilities into production environments.

Salary Range: $180,000–$200,000, depending on experience level, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

The salary range for this role represents Aperio’s good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Placement within the range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to an individual’s qualifications, relevant experience, education, certifications, technical skills, contract labor categories and/or rates, work location, market conditions, and business needs.
