Job summary

Aperio Global is seeking a Senior Analytic Developer to support our Access Discovery & Tradecraft program at Fort Meade, MD. You will collaborate with intelligence analysts, software engineers, and data scientists to build analytic software that accelerates discovery and automation.

In this role, you will prototype, deploy, and integrate modern software solutions, leveraging Agile practices and emerging technologies to deliver immediate operational impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong software engineering experience developing applications with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience developing scalable, production-quality software solutions.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with analysts and technical stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate requirements into software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications using Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Build reusable software components, APIs, and analytic capabilities that integrate with enterprise mission systems.
• Develop scalable data processing workflows that automate manual tasks and improve analyst productivity.
• Rapidly prototype new capabilities and transition successful solutions into operational environments.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies—including Generative AI to modernize analytic workflows.

Salary Range

$180,000–$200,000, depending on experience level, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

The salary range for this role represents Aperio’s good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Placement within the range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to an individual’s qualifications, relevant experience, education, certifications, technical skills, contract labor categories and/or rates, work location, market conditions, and business needs.
