Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks an Analytical Scientist to perform bench-level measurements and ensure data quality in a Texas manufacturing facility. You will own HPLC/HPTLC methods, review data, and maintain rigorous documentation to meet cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities include method transfer, instrument startup and maintenance, and cross-functional support for QA, R&D, and procurement. This role emphasizes independent work within a growing lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• At least four years of hands-on HPLC experience in relevant labs.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot major HPLC systems.
• Experience using chromatography data systems and software.
• Experience transferring or verifying analytical methods in regulated labs.
• Working knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 111, and good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate HPLC-DAD/UV and HPTLC systems to evaluate materials and finished products.
• Prepare samples, mobile phases, reference standards, and calibrations per methods.
• Review chromatograms, perform system suitability, and report results.
• Maintain logs and records meeting data-integrity requirements.
• Transfer validated methods to internal instruments and verify performance.
• Assist with instrument installation, qualification, and startup (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Coordinate external lab submissions and support supplier qualification decisions.
