Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Analytical Scientist in New Jersey to extract and analyze samples per SOPs, serving as a resource in the laboratory. The role focuses on processing biological samples, developing methods, and supporting BD projects.

The candidate will contribute to validation activities, data management, and continuous process improvements within a collaborative Clinical Solutions team. Excellent English and regulatory exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or College Degree in Science required.
• Good understanding of bioanalytical processes used in the laboratory.
• Strong computer skills, especially Word, Excel and analytical software.
• Knowledge of chromatography software.
• Experience in regulatory context and bilingual English (Quebec-specific).

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples.
• Participate in developing and validating bioanalytical methods.
• Document activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying documents.
• Assist in reviewing bioanalytical and method SOPs.
• Initiate analysis runs using appropriate instruments and software.
• Follow up on result analysis and assist in solving bioanalytical issues.
• Assist with integration and revision of data using specialized software.
• Assist in eliminating chemical and biological wastes and in cleaning lab equipment.
• Participate in training of new employees.
• Support Bioanalysis supervisor in managing bioanalytical projects.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives for the laboratory.
• Serve as a resource to ensure smooth lab operations.
