Brewer Science, Inc. is seeking an Analytical Research Scientist IV to lead R&D analytical activities in Rolla, MO. You will design and conduct experiments, develop methods, characterize materials, and interpret data using LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, GPC, rheometry, and thermal analysis tools in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

The role emphasizes leadership of projects or teams and requires a strong background in analytical chemistry or related fields, with advanced degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred in analytical chemistry or related field or
• Master’s Degree in analytical chemistry or related field plus 3 years’ experience materials development or
• Equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Background in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Organic or Polymer Chemistry is preferred
• Experience with project or team leadership preferred

Responsabilités

• Acts as the technical lead for research and development products. Designs and conducts laboratory experiments, analyses, and processes to develop new product offerings.
• Responsible for method development, material characterization, and data interpretation using LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, GPC, Rheometer, TGA, DMA, TMA, DSC.
• Support R&D, quality control, and customer-driven projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Performs advanced material characterization and maintains safety and housekeeping standards.
