Vulcan Elements is seeking a Senior Analytical Laboratory Technician to perform analytical testing and materials characterization in support of rare-earth magnet R&D and production.

You will work with the Laboratory Manager and engineers to prepare samples, operate and maintain instruments, evaluate data quality, and troubleshoot testing issues, contributing to continuous improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of analytical chemistry, materials characterization, or industrial testing lab experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with analytical instruments and sample prep.
• Ability to follow SOPs and instrument manuals, troubleshoot testing issues.

Aufgaben

• Perform analytical testing on raw materials, powders, in-process samples, and magnets to support quality control, production, and R&D.
• Operate and maintain analytical equipment (LECO/ELTRA, ICP-OES, XRD, DSC, laser diffraction).
• Prepare samples in ambient and glovebox environments; document results accurately.
