Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory technician to support analytical testing in a regulated environment. You will read SOPs, verify sample identities, process instrument data, and prepare reports for review.

Responsibilities include first review of GC/MS and LC/MS/MS data, data entry into the LIS, and maintaining Chain of Custody documentation while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience working in an analytical lab.
• Ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures.
• Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch.
• Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports.
• Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP.
• Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification.
• Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation.
• Communicate with supervisors and promptly escalate emerging challenges.
• Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers.
