Job summary

Tolmar is seeking an experienced analytical scientist to develop and validate methods for active ingredients, raw materials and finished products in a cGMP environment. You will work under senior scientists to review processes, support investigations, and train others in analytical techniques.

Ideal candidates have strong chemistry fundamentals, proficiency with chromatography, and experience applying regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD with relevant industry experience in analytical chemistry.
• Experience in method validation and development under cGMP.
• Strong writing and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidance for drugs/devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods for API, raw materials, and finished products.
• Participate in process reviews, change controls, investigations, and support initiatives.
• Assist other departments in sample analysis when trained.
• Contribute to scientific discussions during product development.
• Provide troubleshooting and improvements for the QC laboratory.
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments with critical thinking.
