Job summary

Vetio Animal Health seeks an Analytical Chemist II to perform chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, stability samples, and validation samples in support of manufacturing operations.

The role executes routine and non-routine testing using validated methods while ensuring cGMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance. It also supports method validation/transfer, investigations, stability programs, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and 3+ years of GMP lab experience.
• Experience with pharmaceutical animal health industries and audits is preferred.
• Experience with HPLC method development and validation.
• Familiarity with stability programs and investigations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical, physical, and chemical testing per procedures and specs.
• Comply with cGMP, GDP, data integrity, and regulatory requirements.
• Operate, maintain, and support lab equipment and qualification activities.
• Review and report analytical results timely and accurately.
• Participate in investigations (OOS, OOT, deviations) and CAPA actions.
• Support method development, verification, transfer, and validation projects.
• Support stability, cleaning, and process validation activities.
• Maintain supplies, reagents, and controlled documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data quality initiatives.
• Provide technical support to QA, Manufacturing, and R&D as needed.
• Train and mentor lab personnel and assist in workflow management.
• Support internal and regulatory audits and inspections.
