Job summary

HR&A is seeking a Senior Analyst, Tech & Society, to be a core member of our Technology & Society Studio across offices in New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles or San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead analytical work on projects like digital inclusion and public AI governance, delivering rigorous policy and economic analyses.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience, strong quantitative and qualitative skills, experience with AI tools, and the ability to communicate with policymakers;

Qualifications

• At least 4–6 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience at intersections of technology delivery and policy in civic tech or govtech.
• Ability to translate tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication for policymakers and executives.
• Experience managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Experience with financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative and qualitative policy analysis, market research, and program evaluation.
• Support or lead project management for public policies.
• Develop reports, client presentations, and financial models.
• Lead or support community engagement and stakeholder interviews.
• Direct Research Analysts; provide training and feedback.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and events.
• Apply AI tools responsibly to accelerate research and modeling.
