Job summary

Willdan Financial Services in Orlando seeks a seasoned financial analyst to independently conduct complex analyses for water, wastewater, and utility projects, and to manage data, modeling tools, forecasts, and client deliverables with accuracy and timeliness.

You will collaborate with city and utility clients, prepare clear reports, present findings to stakeholders, and contribute to recommendations addressing rate design, capital planning, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of financial analysis or consulting experience.
• Experience supporting government agencies or public utilities preferred.
• Strong Excel modeling and data analysis skills.
• Ability to interpret government regulations and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct complex financial and operational analyses for water and wastewater utility projects.
• Manage project data, analytical approaches, progress, and timely deliverables.
• Gather, review, and validate financial data from multiple sources; communicate findings to senior staff.
• Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheets, dynamic financial models, and forecasts.
• Interpret analytical results and develop findings and recommendations for clients.
• Prepare clear reports, memoranda, and client deliverables communicating technical information.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
• Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
