Job summary

Entergy seeks an Analyst I-Sr to support the Power Generation PMO on capital projects, performing analytics on financials, procurement, scheduling, and resourcing. You will build models and dashboards to enable timely decisions and portfolio optimization, partnering with project controls to improve processes.

The role involves data integration from ERP systems, scenario modeling, and executive‑level reporting, with a path from Analyst I to Sr based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, finance/accounting, economics, statistics, or business‑related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and clear communication.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; data modeling and visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reports tracking cost, schedule, procurement, and resourcing across capital projects.
• Aggregate data from ERP and field systems to produce actionable insights and executive visuals.
• Establish cost baselines, forecasts, accruals, and earned value metrics aligned to schedules and milestones.
• Provide predictive forecasting to anticipate variances, quantify impacts, and suggest mitigations.
• Support stage-gate governance and handovers; participate in monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Ensure data quality; perform QC on datasets, calculations, and reports with documented methodology.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineering, finance, and IT to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Develop scenario models and communicate findings for decision‑making.
• Maintain Power BI reports; support Access databases and Power Platform automation.
• Promote safety and compliance in all analyses and interactions.
