Job description

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for ensuring that the data management and governance frameworks are in place and adhered to.
2. Responsible for architecting data engineering pipelines including data acquisition, ingestion, management, processing, and publishing by leveraging various AWS services.
3. Responsible for developing and optimizing database models to store and retrieve company information.
4. Responsible for determining strategic data requirements, creating high-level designs according to these requirements.
5. Responsible for guiding and resolving issues with AWS service configuration, performance, security compliance, data quality issues, and data retrieval.
6. Prepare architecture and high-level design documents for the data engineering pipelines.
7. Designing DevOps & DataOps pipelines and resolve issues during implementation and execution.
8. Responsible for researching data acquisition opportunities.

Skillset

1. Finance Domain Data expertise.
2. Ability to model data in Data Lake and Data Warehouse for analytical use cases.
3. Ability to understand and negotiate solutions with business teams/business analysts.
