Job summary

Digital Turbine seeks a strategic Senior Analyst, FP&A to partner with the CTO and Tech leadership. You will build robust financial models, forecast cloud and infrastructure spend, and deliver actionable insights to optimize the technology roadmap.

You will collaborate across Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT and Security, driving reporting automation and data integrity while communicating directly with executives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably supporting technology teams or cloud/infrastructure expense management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of tech expense structures, including headcount and cloud drivers.
  • Proficiency with Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence).
  • Advanced modeling skills in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI) and AI tools (Gemini, Claude).
  • Able to adapt quickly to evolving business strategies and communicate with senior leadership.

  • Act as the Finance lead for CTO and Tech leadership across Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT, and Security.
  • Provide financial context, actionable insights, and guidance on strategic initiatives.
  • Develop flexible headcount models and scenario analyses for roadmap investments.
  • Model, forecast, and optimize Cloud/GCP spend and IT infrastructure costs.
  • Drive reporting automation and bring data-driven recommendations to leadership.

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our Finance team as a dedicated partner to our Tech organizations (Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT, and Security). In this role, you will work closely with Executive leadership—including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)—to drive financial planning, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.

About the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Strategic Business Partnering & Advisory Serve as the primary Finance lead for the CTO and leadership team across Tech organizations, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT, and Security
  • Build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial context, actionable insights, and proactive guidance on strategic initiatives
  • Develop flexible headcount capacity models and financial scenario analyses to help leadership evaluate technical roadmap investments in real time
  • Partner with Tech leads to model, forecast, and optimize Cloud/GCP spend and IT/security infrastructure expenses
  • Proactively identify operational efficiencies independently, bringing well-structured solutions and data-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Drive reporting automation and process improvements by leveraging modern AI tools (eg, Gemini, Claude) and Power BI to streamline workflows
  • Ensure high data integrity and accuracy across all financial deliverable models and board-level presentations
  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize financial data across core systems, including Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
  • Build and maintain scalable, dynamic financial models and presentation materials primarily within Google Sheets and Google Workspace
About you as the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally with experience supporting technology teams, cloud/infrastructure expense management, or partnering with executive leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of technology organization expense structures, including headcount planning and cloud infrastructure drivers
  • Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
  • Advanced modeling skills in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI) and emerging AI tools (eg, Gemini, Claude) for workflow automation
  • Ability to adapt and reprioritize effectively and remain agile in response to evolving business strategies
  • Focuses on framing options, highlighting trade-offs, and proposing actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, clear communication, and confidence when engaging with senior executive leadership
