AbbVie is seeking a Field Planning & Analytics Senior Analyst to support Immunology field effectiveness through territory alignment, call plan operations, and oversight of the ABS approval cycle. The role requires analytical independence, cross-functional collaboration, and strong data-savvy capabilities.

The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvements, become proficient with Javelin and related tools, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required to understand business concepts.
• 2+ years analytical/ops experience, healthcare preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Office Suite; programming skills (Python, SQL, Snowflake) a plus.
• Knowledge of data sets, policies, and interdependencies across Sales Ops and BTS.

Responsibilities

• Sales force territory alignment and placement maintenance.
• Manage TAP Tool process and SPRINT Call Plan Roll Forward Tool.
• Coordinate the annual ABS approval process.
• Produce call plan activity metrics and ad-hoc reporting.
• Develop understanding of department processes and data interdependencies across teams.
• Proficiency with Javelin mapping tool, Call Plan Roll Forward Engine, PPT and Excel.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.

Job Description

The Field Planning & Analytics Senior Analyst supports Immunology field effectiveness through sales force territory alignment and placement maintenance, call plan operations, and coordination of the annual ABS approval process. The role independently manages defined analyses and deliverables, develops strong knowledge of FP&A processes and interdependencies, communicates consistently with stakeholders, and co-leads cross-functional enhancements under manager guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales force territory alignment and placement maintenance
• Call Plan Operations, including managing the Targeting and Planning (TAP) Tool process and the SPRINT Call Plan Roll Forward Tool
• Coordinating the annual ABS approval process
• Call Plan activity metrics & ad-hoc reporting
• Develop a deep understanding of department level processes, business rules, data sets, policies, and interdependencies across Sales Operations and Business Technology Solutions (BTS) departments.
• Become proficient with Javelin sales force mapping tool, the Call Plan Roll Forward Engine, PPT and Excel
• Demonstrate strong communication skills

Qualifications

• BA, BS degree required. BA/BS required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts.
• 2+ years analytical and/or related operations experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Accountable, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong focus on accuracy, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
• Must exhibit proficiency commensurate with grade in the following competencies: adaptability, teamwork, initiative, innovation, integrity, analytical, drive for results, and communication.
• Knowledge of a variety of PC programs (Office Suite) that can solve various problems.
• Programming language experience preferred (i.e. Python, SQL, Snowflake)
• Demonstrated database and project management skills.
