Job description

Position Purpose:

Do you have an interest in eCommerce and Interconnected Merchandising? Are you passionate about driving results? The position will be responsible for analyzing the brand's online performance and for identifying opportunities for improvement in areas such as product assortment, digital content, promotions and returns. The Brand Advocate Sr. Analyst will also ensure that new and promotional items are optimized and offer support when suppliers need help with online/system troubleshooting. This role will also be responsible for using industry expertise to build strategic plans and lead presentations with supplier and merchandising partners. In addition, this role will allow for the opportunity to improve processes that can be leveraged across the organization via mentorship and SME opportunities. The Brand Advocate Sr. Analyst will cultivate strong partnerships with merchants, cross functionals and strategic suppliers to drive traffic, conversion, and interconnected sales through content optimization, process improvement and analytics. This role is customer focused and will be responsible for building out robust project plans that promote brand growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. 15% Collaborates - Collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional partners to manage content changes, SKU presentation, and brand performance throughout the product's lifecycle. In addition, provides on-site support for product set-up, onboarding, and troubleshooting.
  2. 20% Creates presentations - Creates and leads presentations with stakeholders to share project wins, analysis results, and to gain alignment on future opportunities.
  3. 5% Mentor - Serves as a mentor across the organization by providing supplemental onboarding and training.
  4. 20% Partnerships - Partners with stakeholders to build project plans that support strategic growth, drive incremental revenue, and improve the online experience to drive conversion.
  5. 10% Process improvement - Offers industry expertise and acts as the subject matter expert for the supported assortment/category.
  6. 5% System knowledge - Builds system knowledge and expertise through ongoing tailored, training classes.
  7. 15% Tracks performance - Create project plans, gain alignment with merchandising/supplier and drive tracks content performance, digital asset management, assortment opportunities via regular reporting.

  • This Position typically reports to Manager, Brand Advocate.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Merchandising.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau and Adobe products.
  • Proven record of working with major consumer brands while supporting them in an agile, interconnected environment.
  • Agility to learn database systems and web-based platforms.
  • Manages multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Navigates and manages complexities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.


Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
