Job summary

Oscar Health in New York City is hiring a Senior Analyst, Analytics Enablement to support governance, platform strategy, and architecture for BI platforms Looker and Data Studio Pro. You will champion enterprise standards and drive decentralised analytics across teams, reporting to the Data Manager II.

The role is hybrid with three in-office days per week, including Thursdays for team meetings. The base pay ranges from $106,812 to $140,191, plus benefits and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in analytics platform administration, data operations, technical support, business intelligence, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL to investigate data, troubleshoot issues, or support analytics workflows.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools or configuring AI-enabled analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Access Management: primary administrator for Looker and Data Studio Pro, designing and maintaining access control, asset management and workspace permissions
• Platform Reliability & Escalation Management: escalation point of contact for the platform to evaluate and resolve user issues and ensure system reliability
• Platform Governance & Auditing: enforce data governance policies, manage platform folder structures, collect metadata to improve data discoverability, monitor platform usage to optimize system performance. Lead platform optimization and content migration
• Developer & AI Enablement: enable the AI, Data Science and Analytics teams in efforts to improve developer velocity and configure AI-assisted features within BI platforms
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

About The Role

The Associate, Analytics Enablement supports the governance, platform strategy, and architecture for our Business Intelligence (BI) platforms - Looker and Data Studio Pro (formerly Looker Studio Pro). Serving as the core enabler for decentralized analytics, data science, and business teams, this role establishes enterprise BI platform standards and governance while driving key platform initiatives, including developer velocity, self-service analytics, and the deployment of AI-assisted reporting features. You will report into the Data Manager II.

Work Location:

This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $106,812 - $140,191. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Requirements

Bonus Points

• Experience working specifically with Looker and Google Data Studio Pro to build reports and/or manage assets
• Experience exploring, testing, or leveraging emerging AI-assisted features or predictive tools within business intelligence environments
• Experience being the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving user-facing issues to maintain system reliability
• Experience creating user guides, basic documentation, or quick-reference materials to help non-technical users navigate data platforms
