Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Senior Embedded / Analog Power Electronics Engineer for an onsite role in Westford, MA. You will contribute to the development of low-voltage amplifier products, currently in early prototype stages, as a senior individual contributor ready to jump in with minimal ramp-up.

The ideal candidate has strong analog fundamentals, power conversion experience, and hands-on lab troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in analog electronics and embedded hardware design.
• Strong background in power electronics.
• Hands-on experience with DC-DC converters and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to perform schematic-level reviews and troubleshoot hardware in lab.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine amplifier schematic designs (amplifier circuits, relays, isolation barriers).
• Troubleshoot and debug prototype hardware in the lab.
• Support validation and testing using standard electronic test equipment.
• Analyze distortion and performance issues and improve reliability.
• Design, review, and troubleshoot DC-DC converters and power topologies.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware issues and document results.
• Take on additional embedded hardware work as needed.
