Job summary

Power Device Corporation in Bohemia, NY is seeking an Analog/Mixed Signal Design Engineer to lead designs of precision analog/digital interfaces for aerospace-grade products. You will develop multi-chip hybrids or SMT CCAs, with emphasis on Synchro/Resolver to Digital, A2D/D2A converters, and motor drive electronics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Graduate Engineering degree a plus.
• 3-7 minimum years of experience
• Deep analog/mixed signal design experience with A/D and D/A architectures
• Experience with space-level radiation tolerant/hardened design and rad tests
• Experience with Synchro/Resolver, encoders, and motor control domains

Responsibilities

• Lead design and support for Synchro/Resolver to Digital, A2D & D2A mixed signal converters, and BLDC motor driver/controller lines.
• Guide an interdisciplinary team through requirements, architecture, design, verification, and production transfer.
• Perform design for low EMI, thermal and worst-case analyses and coordinate cross-group reviews.
