AML RightSource is seeking a Senior Financial Crimes Investigator to detect suspicious activity, conduct investigations, and prepare SARs in alignment with regulatory requirements. This remote role involves leading investigations, with potential supervision of junior analysts, and collaboration with clients to manage financial crime risks.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, strong AML/KYC knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to investigate potentially suspicious activities and prepare SARs in compliance with regulations and client policies.
• Strong knowledge of financial/banking industries and related laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to synthesize recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify data anomalies and red flags related to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations.
• Verify client identities per KYC procedures.
• Perform quality control tasks as needed.
• Assist with client communication and data analysis.
• Provide independent support to analysts with workflow tasks.
