Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking an experienced AML investigator for a remote, continental United States contract. You will conduct end-to-end investigations of transaction monitoring alerts, review activity, and support SAR referrals.

The role requires 8+ years in AML/financial crime, 3+ years backlog remediation, and the ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment. CAMS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AML investigations, financial crime, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on AML alert backlog remediation.
• End-to-end investigations of transaction monitoring alerts.
• Understanding of customer transaction behavior and cross-border activity.
• Documenting findings and escalating suspicious activity.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with high-volume alerts.
• Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end investigations of AML transaction monitoring alerts.
• Review customer activity, transactional behavior, and docs to identify risks.
• Remediate aged alerts at scale while preserving quality.
• Assess findings against regulatory requirements and policies.
• Identify suspicious activity and document conclusions; escalate when needed.
• Support SAR referral decisions with evidence-based findings.
• Maintain thorough case records and audit trails.
• Balance competing priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
