Job summary

Vizient seeks an Associate Principal, Ambulatory Strategy Intelligence to develop thought leadership, research and strategic insights for health system leaders. The role advises executives and collaborates across Vizient teams to advance intellectual capital in ambulatory care.

As a client-facing specialist, you will present findings, facilitate discussions and translate industry trends into practical guidance for member organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Masters degree preferred (MHA, MBA, PhD).
• 10+ years experience.
• Experience in health system strategy or healthcare research/think tanks is preferred.
• Experience advising healthcare executives and leading strategic planning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Develop original intellectual capital, thought leadership and strategic viewpoints on ambulatory topics.
• Lead research initiatives by forming hypotheses and integrating data into insights.
• Deliver presentations and facilitate executive discussions shaping strategic decisions.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with health system executives and translate trends into guidance.
• Apply analytical thinking to identify trends, frame problems and develop solutions.
• Manage multiple complex projects with high quality and timeliness.
