Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education or medical assisting degree program.
• Active LPN license in GA or MA certification with 10+ years of experience.
• At least 3 years of ambulatory health care experience with MA management expertise.
• AHA BLS or CPR certification.
• Proficiency in EHR and clinical record management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with adult, pediatric, and multi-cultural populations.
• Supervises and trains clinical staff and coordinates daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care.
• Develops and monitors patient care plans for assigned patients.
• Facilitates treatments and procedures ordered by providers.
• Coordinates daily activities of Medical Assistants.
• Assists in training and onboarding of new staff.
• Ensures accurate medical records and regulatory compliance.
• Manages patient flow and walk-in care at Stone Mountain and Decatur.
• Collaborates with Nurse Educator and leadership for staff development.
