Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Aircraft Survivability Equipment Software Developer to design, develop, test, and field complex hardware and software for U.S. military survivability systems.

You will work in a Government test facility performing hands-on sustainment and contributing to next-generation countermeasures. The role requires deep experience in C, C++, Python, and related languages, plus hardware emulation, test equipment, and collaboration with operators and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and hardware testing for military systems.
• Proficient in C, C++, 8051 Assembly, Python, or ADA.
• Experience with US Government/contractor engineering teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
• Experience with hardware emulation and test equipment.
• Experience leading production software modifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and field complex hardware and software for survivability equipment.
• Provide software development, test equipment design, and field support.
• Collaborate with US and Allied operators to troubleshoot issues.
