Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah is seeking an Advanced Structural Aircraft Technician (Technician III) to perform complex inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft structures in an MRO environment with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include interpreting SRM/AMM, evaluating damage, and fabricating complex components.

The role requires precision drilling, fastener installation to airworthy standards, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineering and quality.

Qualifications

• A&P, FCC, or NCATT preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and eng./engineering docs.
• 4 years experience in sheetmetal, hydraulics, avionics/elect compo repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs of mechanical and electrical assemblies per blueprints and manuals.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional tests.
• Inspect parts using blueprints and manuals for conformity.
• Maintain FAA Repair Station paperwork and compliance.
