Job summary

Requirements include a minimum of 7+ years in engineering, at least 3 years in structural background, and strong data interpretation. On-site at MCO, Orlando, FL with possible international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Structure/Aerospace) or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in engineering roles, with 3+ years in structural background.
• Experience in heavy-check maintenance for aircraft preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering data and OEM docs.
• Knowledge of CFRs and airworthiness standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical support during heavy maintenance checks for United Airlines fleet.
• Develop substantiating data for repairs and modifications through engineering analysis.
• Create and improve engineering processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and regulatory bodies to ensure airworthiness and compliance.
• Lead complex solutions, project justification, and cost-benefit analyses.
