Placements24 seeks an Aircraft Stress Analyst to join our engineering team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will perform structural analysis, fatigue and fracture mechanics, and support testing and certification efforts for aircraft components.

The role requires a Master’s/PhD in a related field with 7+ years of experience, strong FEA skills (NASTRAN/ANSYS), and knowledge of FAR Part 25 and MIL-HDBK-5. Collaboration with design teams is essential.

• Proven proficiency with FEA software and aerospace design standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed stress analysis on aircraft structures using FEA (NASTRAN/ANSYS).
• Analyze fatigue life, crack propagation, and fracture mechanics for critical parts.
• Validate analytical results with experimental data and correlation studies.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize structural designs for weight and performance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports documenting methods, results, and recommendations.
