Qualifications

• 10+ years of aviation maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting turbine propulsion, flight controls, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or avionics.
• Ability to complete complex maintenance tasks within approved procedures and seek engineering direction when needed.
• Proficiency interpreting manuals, drawings, wiring diagrams, and configuration documents.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve discrepancies under time pressure without compromising safety.
• Experience maintaining accurate maintenance records and configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, inspections, servicing, repairs, and component replacement on X-BAT subsystems.
• Support assembly, integration, modification, and instrumentation installation per engineering instructions.
• Execute pre/post-test inspections and document maintenance status.
• Assist engine start, ground runs, hover prep, shutdown, and other ground-test activities.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues using drawings and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain maintenance records, traceability, and configuration status.
• Ensure safety plans and access restrictions are followed during tests.
• Provide guidance to less-experienced technicians and mentor others.
