Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking an experienced engineer to lead major programs and advance interior furnishings for aircraft. The role requires designing, modeling, and validating components, ensuring fit within airframe constraints and weight/balance limits.

You will work with cross-functional teams to define design standards, develop production-ready drawings, and help steer the product development process from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical related curriculum required or equivalent.
• 10 yrs in specific technical discipline or 15 yrs broad eng experience with Bachelor's.
• Advanced degree in engineering preferred; related degrees considered for Masters/PhD credits.

Responsibilities

• Selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Is consulted extensively by associates as a recognized authority within the field.
• Anticipates and resolves complex issues, developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
• Design installations and develop interior furnishings for new, custom, and in-service aircraft.
• Liaises with Operations, Suppliers, Procurement, Quality, and other departments on design and validation.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical related curriculum

Advanced degree preferred
