Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking a Gulfstream Team Lead, Interior Technician to supervise interior removal and modification projects and lead a crew of technicians to deliver high-quality results.

Applicants should have 10+ years in aircraft interiors, 4+ years supervising teams, and strong FAA paperwork experience; Corridor systems expertise and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of aircraft interior removal and installations, modifications, and technical knowledge.
• Experience supervising crew leads and scheduling.
• Ability to evaluate manpower and schedules; training and workflow management.

Responsibilities

• Manage crews by communicating with Interior Crew Leaders and other staff to determine flow for completing assignments.
• Perform quality checks and supervise daily activities.
• Train, coach and mentor crew leads to develop job knowledge and performance.
• Prepare and deliver performance evaluations.
• Assist with engineering on design for major modification projects.
• Work independently on projects when required.
• Assist with training to ensure interior personnel performance.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
