Qualifications
Instructor II must have a minimum of five (5) years recent experience as a Certified Professional Controller.
Experience in the classroom and simulator laboratory is required.
Curriculum design and development experience is desired.
Responsibilities
Deliver high quality classroom and lab based training to students.
Mentor other instructors and students.
Design and develop training curriculum.
Skills
Knowledge of current practices in Air Traffic Control
Exceptional customer service orientation
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to interface with FAA personnel
Ability to work productively with a wide range of people
Education
Minimum of five (5) years recent experience as a Certified Professional Controller
Instructor experience in classroom and simulator laboratory
On-the-Job Training Instructor (OJTI) certification
Tools
Operational experience with ATC simulators
