Job summary

DCS Corp seeks an Air Systems Modeling Engineer to support full lifecycle threat system model development for manned and autonomous air systems. You will design, implement, validate, and maintain high-fidelity models used in advanced multi-vehicle simulations, applying NASIC processes to ensure mission-driven fidelity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline required.
  • Minimum 8 years in modeling and simulation or related field.
  • Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow development and integration.
  • Experience with aircraft, sensor or EW-related models in physics-based or algorithmic environments.
  • Familiarity with multi-vehicle simulation frameworks (AFSIM, NGTS, ITASE, JSE).
  • Strong technical writing for V&V reports and modeling documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance TMAP manned and unmanned integrated air system models to NASIC standards.
  • Build MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow threat models from templates and data.
  • Maintain Simulink library blocks and tools for TMAP generation.
  • Ensure models integrate into M&S environments (AFSIM, NGTS, ITASE, JSE).
  • Review intelligence assessments to identify performance gaps and modeling deficiencies.
