Job summary

Targa Resources Corp. is seeking a Sr. Environmental Specialist for the Air Projects team to lead air permitting efforts from conception through completion across multiple facilities.

The role collaborates with engineering, operations and commercial teams and reports to the Manager, Air Quality. The successful candidate will manage Title V and NSR permitting, perform regulatory analyses, maintain knowledge of applicable regulations, and guide consultants and internal stakeholders to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering/science preferred.
• 8+ years air permitting or 5+ years environmental compliance experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal oil and gas regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Title V and NSR permitting for oil and gas facilities.
• Perform regulatory analyses to apply rules to projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to meet objectives.
• Communicate permitting and regulatory requirements across the organization.
• Coordinate with external organizations on permitting objectives.
• Engage and manage consultants on air permitting projects.
• Support compliance audits and resolve environmental issues.
• Maintain knowledge of current and proposed regulations affecting operations.
• Prepare air emissions calculations and permit applications.
• Maintain training materials and SOPs for air permit processes.
• Support upkeep of air permit data in environmental information systems.
