Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Managing Consultant in our Environment & Health Division to lead air quality compliance and permitting projects. You will oversee complex assignments, estimate emissions, model air dispersion, and prepare permit applications for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• B.S. or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science; air quality coursework a plus.
• 9+ years of air quality related experience.
• Strong computing skills with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and organization.
• Ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations to real-world situations.
• Programming, databases and GIS skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret local, state, and federal air regulations with focus on air compliance.
• Maintain client relationships and manage deliverables to meet client needs.
• Serve as technical lead overseeing consultant staff on complex projects.
• Estimate emissions and evaluate air pollution sources.
• Support air dispersion modeling and prepare air quality permit applications and reports.
• Handle EPCRA Tier II and TRI reporting.
• Other environmental regulatory compliance tasks as needed.
