Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Managing Consultant in air quality compliance & permitting within our Environment & Health Division. Preferred locations include Blue Bell, PA, Albany, Syracuse, or Rochester, NY.

Join a team dedicated to sustainable, regulatory-driven environmental solutions and lead complex projects across client industries. You will oversee technical staff, estimate emissions, model dispersion, and prepare permit applications and reports, shaping Ramboll's approach to air quality

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Engineering or science with air quality coursework preferred.
• 9+ years of air quality related experience.
• Strong computing skills including spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations, with focus on air compliance.
• Maintaining client relationships and managing deliverables to meet client needs efficiently.
• Serving as the technical lead overseeing consultant-level staff on complex projects.
• Estimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
• Supporting air dispersion modeling of air pollution dispersion.
• Preparing all levels of air quality permit applications and environmental reports.
• EPCRA Tier II and TRI Reporting.
• Other environmental regulatory compliance experience is a plus.
