Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a senior AI Architect to partner with executives and technologists to define AI transformation roadmaps and deliver scalable, secure AI solutions that align with business outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams through discovery, architecture, implementation, and adoption, driving value realization and establishing governance for responsible AI across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software engineering, technology consulting, or related fields.
• Strong experience with Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLM Applications.
• Expertise in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, and AI Orchestration frameworks.
• Proficient in Enterprise Integration Architecture, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, and Responsible AI practices.
• Proven track record leading AI transformation initiatives and connecting tech solutions to measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive stakeholders to define AI transformation strategies and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI, automation, and intelligent agents.
• Design scalable, secure, production-ready AI solutions aligned to business goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, architecture, implementation, and adoption phases.
• Drive value realization through AI-powered business transformation and governance frameworks.
• Present technical and business solutions to executive and technical audiences.
• Build and validate POCs, prototypes, and MVPs; provide hands-on leadership during deployment.
• Coach stakeholders on AI best practices and governance standards.
• Collaborate with client executives, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable AI architectures.
