Job summary

AMD is seeking a Sr. Software System Designer to research, design, develop, and validate systems-level software for AI and enterprise workloads on GPU/CPU platforms.

You will optimize performance, debug complex software, and contribute to ROCm-based ecosystems, including container runtimes and orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift. You will work under supervision to apply engineering principles, analyze processor performance, and influence hardware choices while delivering scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with C, C++, Python and systems-level software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate systems-level software for high-performance AI and enterprise workloads on GPU and CPU platforms.
• Benchmark and optimize software workloads; contribute to ROCm-based platforms and orchestration frameworks.
• Analyze hardware compatibility and influence hardware design where appropriate.
