Job summary

Capital One National Association seeks a Senior Lead AI Engineer (FM Hosting) to drive the design, development and deployment of AI systems. You will work with engineers, researchers, PMs, and product teams to deliver AI-powered capabilities that impact millions of customers.

You will advance LLM optimization, governance, and observability, using AWS, HuggingFace, PyTorch and other tools, while mentoring a team and shaping the technical roadmap for foundational AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field with years of AI/ML experience.
• 6+ years coding in Python/Go/Scala/Java for AI systems.
• Experience deploying scalable AI on cloud platforms and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and PMs to deliver AI products.
• Design, train, and deploy AI software components including LLMs.
• Advance model optimization for performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to foundational AI system roadmaps and governance.
• Mentor and lead engineering teams across projects.
