Job summary

General Dynamics IT (GDIT) in Springfield, VA seeks a Senior AI Software Developer to design, develop, test, and deliver AI features across several programs. You will integrate data streams, migrate cloud platforms, and build AI-enabled solutions within secure, mission-focused systems.

You will work on scalable, secure apps using Python/Java/Scala, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift in a DevSecOps environment. On-site role requiring TS/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph; polygraph sponsorship available.
• 8+ years of experience in AI software development.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Integrate multiple data streams into customer system.
• Complete Cloud platform migrations between platforms.
• Develop AI features for ontology-based software applications.
• Create sustainable software with efficient branching and clean repos.
• Work in an agile scrum team and participate in ceremonies.
• Implement requirements from the product backlog.
• Assist in writing backlog requirements/user stories.
• Utilize a modern DevSecOps approach in building software applications.
• Develop and modify applications and IT systems to support analysts.
