Job summary

The Mom Project is partnering with a large US insurance company to hire a Senior AI Security Risk Assessment Consultant for a 100% onsite contract role in Chicago, IL. You will apply established AI risk methodologies to evaluate AI use cases, models, and third-party solutions, documenting findings to enable secure adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Cybersecurity or risk management.
• Experience performing security risk assessments and reviews.
• Familiar with NIST CSF, MITRE ATLAS, and AI threat modeling.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, or CGRC encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI security risk assessments for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Evaluate risks for Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and third-party services.
• Assess security, privacy, governance, and risk controls in AI solutions.
• Identify AI-specific threats: prompt injection, data leakage, model manipulation.
• Facilitate risk assessment workshops with stakeholders.
• Document findings, gaps, mitigations, and executive summaries.
• Support AI governance reviews with risk and control assessments.
• Monitor evolving AI risks and regulatory developments.
