Job summary

Cisco is seeking an experienced AI/ML security engineer to design and build systems that fuse security data, signals, and context into explainable findings for analysts. You will prototype AI features and collaborate with security SMEs to validate real-world utility.

You will develop an AIDevOps pipeline, work on the distributed platform for trillions of events, and help shape AI-enabled threat detection workflows for scalable, trusted security operations at Cisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of related experience or Master's with 8+ years.
• Experience with data sources such as endpoint logs, network traffic, authentication events, or cloud audit trails.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines for ingesting, parsing, and normalizing large-scale security telemetry.
• Experience designing agent systems that will perform coding tasks for you.

Responsibilities

• Design and build systems that combine security data, signals, context, and foundation models to spot and predict threats.
• Prototype and test new AI features with security SMEs and researchers to validate real-world utility.
• Develop an AIDevOps pipeline to enable rapid experimentation with data and context memory.
• Architect and build the distributed platform to correlate trillions of events/signals and synthesize them into explainable findings for the Agentic SOC.
