Job summary

A tech company specialized in AI is looking for a Senior Application Security Engineer to secure AI, machine learning, and inference platforms. The role requires deep security reviews and implementing security within modern AI infrastructure. Candidates should have strong application security experience and expertise in threat modeling. This is a hybrid position based in either Seattle or San Francisco with a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000.

Qualifications

• Strong background in application security engineering.
• Experience performing threat modeling and architecture reviews.
• Experience securing APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting or programming skills such as Python, Go, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling across AI platforms and ML pipelines.
• Review model serving architectures and inference pipelines.
• Identify security gaps in APIs and micro-services.
• Secure customer facing inference APIs and services.
• Build security automation for AI and application pipelines.
