Halvik Corp in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead design, implementation, and operations of enterprise-scale data discovery,classification, AI governance and protection controls for a hybrid environment.

The role requires collaboration with COR/CO and Halvik teams to secure sensitive data while enabling AI adoption, with a focus on policy-driven enforcement across cloud and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s and 8+ years considered.
• 10+ years in professional cybersecurity engineering, with 3+ years in DLP/data classification/cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and rollout of data discovery, classification, and AI governance across cloud, on-prem, SaaS, and developer environments.
• Design policy-based controls to monitor AI prompts, responses, and artifacts in real time to prevent data leakage.
• Own detection and protection of AI-native artifacts across repositories and developer workspaces.
• Maintain auditable enforcement records and remediation workflows for policy exceptions and security findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Halvik teams to align with cloud migration timelines and AI roadmap.
• Architect integrations with enterprise DLP/CASB, SIEM, and identity/access workflows; address vulnerabilities in code and IaC templates.
