Job summary

News Corp (Realtor.com) is seeking a senior AI security engineer to secure AI and agent platforms across AWS and GCP, focusing on guardrails, containment, supply chain integrity, detection and response, and threat modeling. You will educate teams and lead AI security strategy in a hands-on, onsite role in Austin, TX.

The role requires extensive cloud security experience, developer tooling, and a track record of building secure-by-default frameworks for AI systems and agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS and GCP security experience, multi-cloud preferred.
• Experience securing LLM/agentic systems and prompt defenses.
• Threat modeling for products and platforms; translate results into requirements.
• Hands-on with agents, tool calls, MCP, and AI coding tools.
• Strong coding review skills in Python/TypeScript/Go; Terraform/IaC proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Secure AI platforms across AWS and GCP, implementing guardrails and containment.
• Lead AI security strategy and educate teams on best practices.
• Design agent authorization, per-agent audit trails, and least-privilege controls.
• Develop secure-by-default frameworks and reference architectures.
• Embed security into CI/CD with secrets scanning, SAST/SCA, and policy-as-code.
• Run red-team exercises and evaluate AI models/agents before launch.
• Coordinate incident response, threat intel, and vulnerability disclosure.
